A visit to the heart of the park
Specially dedicated to the women involved in the project

From L'Arcouest
On June 23, Iberdrola France and Ailes Marines organized a visit to the offshore wind farm in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc: an event dedicated exclusively to the women who are helping to make the project a reality. Departing from the Pointe de L'Arcouest, the guests were able to board the Vedettes de Bréhat for the offshore wind farm and appreciate the scale of the project.
Marie Thabard, Iberdrola France's Offshore Development Director, and the women's project teams warmly welcomed the women in attendance, and took advantage of the journey to give a presentation on the project and its progress.
His detailed explanations of the environmental measures already taken and those to come confirmed Ailes Marines' commitment to preserving the environment.
Technical and logistical resources deployed
The visit gave participants a closer look at the first elements of the offshore wind farm in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, currently under construction.
They were able to discover the various nautical techniques used, in particular the impressive Aeolus vessel, 140 meters long and 45 meters wide. This specialized vessel is essential for drilling and installing piles, a crucial stage in the creation of wind turbine foundations.
In the presence of the WISTA and We Evolen women's networks, local stakeholders and the companies involved in the construction of the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm, the visit highlighted the remarkable expertise and commitment of the women who play an essential role in the project.

A significant step in the energy transition
The event highlighted the remarkable expertise and commitment of the women involved in the project. Iberdrola France and Ailes Marines remain committed to promoting inclusion and diversity within the energy industry, offering opportunities to all those engaged in the energy transition. In this way, they will continue to contribute to building a promising future for all, marking a significant milestone in the Brittany region's energy transition. By producingrenewable energy and reducing carbon emissions, this wind farm is an important milestone on the road to a more sustainable future.
