Second workshop on collective support measures for the fishing sector

Ailes Marines organized a second workshop on April 6 on collective support measures for the fishing industry:

President of the CDPMEM22 , the Director of the CCI Côtes d'Armor as manager of the tide pools, the President of the GALPA Pays de Saint-Brieuc , the Sea and Coast Commission and the President of the Bretagne Nord Regional Shellfish Committee took part . as an actor seeking to develop synergies with the entire fishing industry.

This workshop invited the main players in the departmental fishing sector to share their points of view on the actions to be taken for the benefit of the sector.
5 support areas were proposed:

  1. Traceability (Labeling / transmission of information within the sector, etc.)
  2. Recovery (Circular economy approaches for the recovery of co-products, shell waste, etc.)
  3. The acquisition and sharing of knowledge (resources, activities, socio-economic impact, etc.)
  4. Promotion (jobs, local seafood, reputation of Bay products, collective catering, etc.)
  5. Diversification of sources of income (complementary production, added value, new techniques, etc.)

To note

This workshop also addressed the question of the framework of Ailes Marine's intervention and the formalization of its intervention in complementarity with existing support (GALPAs present in the territory, EPCI, Brittany Region, etc.)

This meeting is part of the consultation processes initiated by Ailes Marines , within the framework of the Management and Monitoring Committee.
