Ailes Marines and the CRCBN sign an agreement to finance the feasibility study of a sustainable and integrated aquaculture farm.
The Comité Régional de la Conchyliculture Bretagne Nord (CRCBN) and Ailes Marines have signed an agreement today to finance a feasibility study for an Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) farm project, in the park and around the foundations of the wind turbines at sea of the Saint-Brieuc park. This feasibility study of the project is led and implemented by the CRCBN, and financed by Ailes Marines. The objective is to to determine the regulatory, technical and economic modalities of this innovative project.

The agreement was signed today in Paimpol by Sylvain Cornée, President of the Comité Régional de la Conchyliculture Bretagne Nord, and Stéphane Alain Riou, Director of Development and Territory of Iberdrola & Ailes Marines. Through this partnership, the CRCBN will study the feasibility of a pilot and innovative project ofIntegrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA), which will be installed near the foundations of the wind turbines at sea of the Saint-Brieuc wind farm. This study, financed by Ailes Marines and supported by Iberdrola's Research and Development division, is a preamble to the experimental test phase at sea.
