Objectives and methodology

The Saint-Brieuc park is the first park in France which will be built 100% using the drilling technique.

Throughout the construction phase, the Ailes Marines project teams used the drilling technique instead of the piling technique.

Indeed, the noise generated by drilling is a continuous noise of a lower level than that of driving which generates impulsive noise (short and strong signals) while the driving technique consists of beating the foundations in the seabed at the same time. using the hydraulic hammer.

By this choice, Ailes Marines has significantly reduced the noise at the source.
