Additional information

The employee will work at sea, in rotations of 14-days on and 14 days off during the construction, testing, commissioning phase (1.5 years).

The High Voltage Operator is part of the Control team of the wind farm in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc. You will be responsible for driving the installation and its electricity production in complete safety.

You will be required to carry out rigorous monitoring in the control room, both in normal operation and in a disturbed situation, while guaranteeing the safety of the installation in real time.

You will also be responsible for managing requests for access to work in the park and for maritime coordination.

Roles and Missions

During the construction phase, the operator will join the commissioning team to support this commissioning phase. He/she will also be trained in the electrical rules of the group up to 225kV.

In the operational phase, he/she will be required to :

  • Carry out high voltage disconnection and reconnection of the park.
  • Prepare the disconnection schedules in order to adapt the production to the requests formulated by RTE (Réseau Transport d'Électricité), maintenance, etc.
  • Operate and maintain the facility within the pre-set ranges in both normal and incidental operation,
  • Issuing consignment permits,
  • Coordinate the operating technicians in the control room and in the field within the framework of monitoring and steering, in compliance with the safety of the participants, the procedures and applicable standards
    • Checking the quality of writing of work requests,
    • Review of risk analyses associated with the work,
    • Issuing work permits to technicians
  • Control the maritime coordination of vessels on the park using the Personnel Tracking System (PTS) and Vessel Tracking System (VTS),
  • Respond and adapt your actions to the state of the slice, especially in a disturbed situation, and initiate emergency responses.

The position is based ashore in the control room, initially located in Pleudaniel (22). You will work in rotation including weekends and will be required to be on call. You may be required to participate in activities at sea for a period of 14 days.

  • Controlling and operating the offshore wind farm and monitoring the proper functioning of the equipment (offshore substation, inter-wind turbine cables, wind turbines, foundations, etc.).
  • Consignment manager.

The substation includes an on-call facility to enable liaison with the centralized control room and RTE.

  • Responsible for the safety of personnel working under the electrical rules (high and low voltage), in particular those performing consignments, disconnection and reconnection HTA, HTB.
  • Performing electrical operations on the 62-turbine offshore wind farm.
  • Coordinate and supervise offshore maintenance operations to limit the impact on production.
  • To manage third party activities by ensuring compliance with the rules applicable to the park.


  • BAC+2 to BAC+5 in Electrical, Electrical Engineering


  • Experience in managing and operating a power generation plant and/or networks.
  • Experience in planning high voltage activities.
  • Experience as a consignment manager
  • Knowledge and experience of control and monitoring systems (SCADA).
  • Competence in electrical protection regulations.
  • H2V/B2V, HC/BC, LV, MV, HV accreditations.
