Progress of work at mid-term
Since the start of construction work on the park in 2021, numerous installation stages have taken place.
The collaboration of several key players made it possible to meet deadlines and carefully transport massive parts, such as the jacket foundations, to the park's implementation area. As the delivery of the project scheduled for 2023 approaches, we take a look back at the last major notable advances in the project.
Retrospective
Launched in 2021, the park installation work is gradually taking shape.
During this first year of work, operations focused on land preparation with, in particular, pre-trenching (planned to receive the electrical cable later) and the first drilling activities.
The 2022 campaign aims to continue this drilling work and install the first visible and non-visible elements of the wind farm, namely: the first “jacket” foundations, the electrical substation and the first transmission lines. circuits.
Key steps
Installation of piles and drilling works
Drilling work progressed efficiently.
To date, a total of 33 wind turbine locations out of 62 have been built, in addition to that reserved for the electrical substation. Thanks to this significant progress, more than half of the drilling work has been carried out.
Installation of “jacket” type foundations
The year 2022 marked the start of the installation of “jacket” type foundations. This stage was successfully completed, with a total of 24 jacket foundations installed. The other 38 jacket foundations will be installed during 2023.
Cable installation
The laying of the circuit lines (S2, S3 and S4), with the foundation jackets installed, was successfully completed. This is a particularly important step towards the commissioning of the park.
The S1 circuit line has, for its part, started with its first two foundations.
Installation of electrical substation
A central element in the operation of the offshore wind farm, the electrical substation was successfully installed on July 6, 2022.
