Summary of recent work on noise impact | Marine Environmental Sciences Laboratory
As part of the impact studies regularly carried out by Ailes Marines and several specialized scientific organizations, a new analysis was conducted by the Laboratoire des Sciences de l'Environnement Marin to assess the impact of noise associated with the construction phase of offshore wind turbines on the Coquille Saint-Jacques and the Praire.

Pioneering environmental studies recognized by the international scientific community
PLos One and Limnology & Oceanography Methods, two international scientific publications, have validated the protocols for measuring the effects of noise on scallops. These measurements were carried out by independent scientists before and during the installation of the components of the offshore wind farm in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc. The campaign of noise monitoring measurements on scallops represents a world first for marine biology research.

Ailes Marines inaugurates the temporary technical base of the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm in the port of Saint-Malo
On February 24, Ailes Marines, a subsidiary of Iberdrola, inaugurated the temporary technical base of the offshore wind farm in Saint-Brieuc. The inauguration was attended by Daniel Cueff, Vice-President of the Brittany Region and Stéphane Alain Riou, Director of Iberdrola France's offshore wind farm in the port of Saint-Malo.
