Ailes Marines begins its UXO campaign

UXO studies are routine maritime technical studies, which make it possible to detect possible metallic elements and/or explosive devices, in order to ensure the safety of people required to work on the wind farm site, in particular in the corridors of the wind farms. future cables which will be buried (burial).
At the end of this campaign, Ailes Marines will carry out two sea test campaigns targeting drilling and cable burying operations. The objective being to define both solutions with a lower impact on the environment and to have efficient and suitable tools for burying all of the cables.

Ailes Marines visit to the SAMETO Technifil company in Dinan

Ailes Marines went to Dinan to visit the SAMETO Technifil company, specialized in mechanical welding and boilermaking. SAMETO has ISO 3834 certification, required to integrate the “supply chain” of the foundations which will be partly built in Brest.
Its manager, Serge Menec, is also President of Breizh EMR and member of Bretagne Ocean Power, and works for the deployment of a Marine Renewable Energy sector in Brittany.

Ailes Marines was this weekend at the 2019 trophy presentation of the Sailing Committee of the Côtes d'Armor department.
This event was also an opportunity to thank the CVD22 teams for their work and to renew our commitment for the years to come.
