First passenger ever transferred from the wind farm in the bay of Saint Brieuc to the coast with a CTV Ailes Marines.
Ailes Marines announces today the arrival of the TSM WINDCAT 49 vessel at the installation area of the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm. The TSM WINDCAT 49 is the first French Crew Transport Vessel (CTV) type vessel specially designed for offshore wind power. The vessel belongs to TSM WINDCAT, a joint venture created by Thomas Services Maritimes and the Dutch company Windcat Workboats. The ship was built in France and the Netherlands. Indeed, the ship's hull was built at the Delavergne shipyard in Vendée and it was equipped in Holland by Windcat.
Ailes Marines announces the return of the AEOLUS to the area from July 16, 2021, following the agreement of the maritime authorities. The Van Oord company's jack up vessel is responsible for drilling and installing the foundation piles for the offshore wind farm. After a complete review of the vessel's tools and equipment carried out by Van Oord in the Netherlands , all work control and monitoring protocols have been re-evaluated. Ailes Marines also announces the signing of an agreement with CEDRE.
The ship Bravenes arrives on site, it will be responsible for installing the riprap.
