Ailes Marines begins its drilling test campaign

On behalf of Ailes Marines , the BOKALIFT 1 ship chartered by the Van Oord company will begin drilling tests on September 1 in the area of ​​the future wind farm in the bay of Saint Brieuc ^. The BOKALIFT 1 vessel will carry out drilling tests on 3 wind turbine locations of the future offshore wind farm.

The objective of this campaign is to validate the drilling tool in order to optimize future construction work and limit the environmental impacts of the work, in particular by limiting underwater noise pollution (compared to pile driving). ).
