Successful loading of the topside and jacket foundation
of the substation.
This Saturday, June 11, the topside and foundation jacket of the offshore wind farm substation were successfully loaded. Initially, the loading of the topside, weighing 3,400 tonnes, took place on the EQUANS BeLux in Hoboken, Belgium.
At the same time, the foundation jacket of the OSS (Offshore Substation), a large structure weighing almost 1,600 tonnes, was safely loaded onto a pontoon from the Heerema Fabrication Group in Vlissingen, the Netherlands. .
A successful loading, which now allows the topside and foundation jacket to be transported to their final location.
Navigation is planned for the end of the month, after which installation will take place on the Saint-Brieuc site.
